Wow. When I was writing in my journal, I really thought I had written at least 900 words, but that didn't seem to be the case. :( This seemed to be my slacking day. And I'm still 1060 words ahead. I keep on falling behind on my word count. I need to write 2274 words today to reach the 15003 goal for Sunday. So anything more than 2274 would be most lovely. I wish I knew how much I had written on Nov. 1st, but I did a combine of the two. However, I see that before I even left for the write-in--which we're gonna have another one today, yay!--I did 1,738 words. I'm leaving in two hours. I could do that now. I have a few more things I'm working on, too, but I already have a page and a half written in my journal. I may be well on my way to that word count yet. It's kinda funny: on one hand, this still seems difficult, but on another, I just write down words. And words always add something nice to my word count. As long as I'm writing, I'm progressing. There's even some plot in this story! I'm about to leave the scene I've been working on for the last couple of days. I'm kind of glad about that, too. But I was pleased that there was movement. I just have to keep the movement going. Sometimes the scene switches are difficult for me. I don't get bored, but I just hit a road block for ideas. However, I think I've introduced enough characters (so far have the three guys in the protagonist's life--Daniel, Erik, and Derek--the protagonist, Angela, a few of her co-workers, and Derek's sister, Gloria. And Daniel and Gloria haven't gotten any actual time in the story, just mentions. When I'm done with this story, I'm actually excited to re-read it and work with it more. I don't know if I'll be finishing it with NaNo, though. Think I'll still be working on it with the [livejournal.com profile] autumnwrite. I need to start updating that, too. Think I'll do that later this weekend or next week. Right now, back to writing for me.
