I'm often writing in my journals, and while I have the best of intentions of getting that writing to online, it doesn't always get here.
Such is the fact of scrap one. I found this in the same PotC notebook in which I had just written my non-fic prompt.

One thing I've learned as a fangirl is one musn't be afraid of the unknown. The unknown is one of the domains of the fangirl. She goes where others fear to travel. She has many things which drives her to do this, but the promary and most important reason is she has to. There is a driving force which compels her to reach for depths which others are afraid to soar to. This is the halmark of the fangirl ("to thy own self be true"); it is both a blessing and a curse. In this life, it is difficult for people who deviate from the 'norm' to continue even though to continue means receiving scorn.
