It's okay. You're just under the wire. They're supposed to be adding people to the comm on the 30th. I made sure to sign up right when they opened because I missed last year! D: Just by a day. I wanted to sign up on the 1st and it was too late. :(

Support can be very helpful. You have people who are going through the same thing you are. Or, at the very least, are sympathetic.

It's not just a Christian thing, no. It relies on spirituality, but Cameron says that it doesn't matter if you believe in it or not; the results still come. If I were you, I would look through the book and see if her tone is acceptable to you.

Oh, please! :D It's not like I have a patent on that idea. It's been around for a while. There might even be a comm for that. I've seen comms for that before. There are also plenty of reading challenges out there. There are some here and here specifically. And even some more. I found a really great list of challenges last year, but I've failed to locate such a thing right now. But, if you are interested, this gives you a place to start. I have so many partially read books, too. :( I start reading and...yeah. Just like that. [livejournal.com profile] geonncannon astounds me with his ability to post regularly on Livejournal, write lengthy posts of all kinds, write long stories, and read 100 books. I am still trying to find his secret.
